Worship

We are committed to thoughtful worship that generally follows the seasons of the Christian year. Until the pandemic changed life, two worship services were offered each Sunday, one at 8:45 and another at 11:00.  While the styles of each are different, the elements of worship (music, readings, children’s time, sermon, etc.) are crafted around the Scriptures and themes of the day. Currently, we are worshiping at 10:00 am using a blend of elements from both worship services. For questions about our worship services, please email the church office.

10:00 service
Located in the Fellowship Hall temporarily, this service is more “traditional” in style. Hymns are accompanied by the piano, and our sanctuary choir or ensemble (guitar, drums, etc.) sings on a regular basis. Multimedia resources such as videos and pictures are used as part of the service. The service is broadcast live on the church’s Facebook page.

Video/Audio Archives
Our 10:00 services are videoed and uploaded to YouTube. In addition, audio files of our sermons can be found here.

Additional Worship Services
FBC follows the church calendar and participates in liturgical seasons such as Lent and Advent. During those seasons we offer additional worship services, including Hanging of the Green, Christmas Memorial Service, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and participation in the community Holy Week services. Please see our calendar for dates and times of these services.
